Royal Army Secures Victory in the Clasico Against Wydad and Tops the Professional League

The Royal Army successfully secured the Moroccan "Clasico" in their favor after defeating their guest, Wydad Athletic Club, with a score of (2-1) in the match held at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat, as part of the 24th round of the professional league.

The military team entered the match with a clear determination to secure the three points and managed to translate their superiority into a lead goal in the 37th minute through striker Youssef Al-Fahli, giving the home side the advantage before the end of the first half.

As the second half began, the Royal Army continued to pressure Wydad's defenses, extending their lead with a second goal in the 50th minute, scored by Ahmed Hamoudan. This goal was facilitated by an excellent assist from the outstanding Youssef El Fahli.

Wydad Athletic Club did not give up after falling behind by two goals, as they managed to get back into the game in the 63rd minute when they were awarded a penalty, successfully converted by star player Hakim Ziyech, reducing the deficit and igniting the excitement for the remaining minutes.

The rest of the match saw mutual attempts from both sides, with the Royal Army seeking to secure their lead with a third goal, while Wydad aimed to equalize. However, the lack of offensive effectiveness prevented any change in the score until the final whistle.

With this valuable victory, the Royal Army raised its tally to 48 points to seize the top spot in the professional championship, while Wydad Athletic Club's tally froze at 43 points in fifth place, dealing them a new blow in the race for the top positions.
