The journalist Gamal El-Ghandour revealed a surprise regarding Al-Ahly's negotiations with Mahmoud Salah, the player from Ghazl El-Mahalla, and the latter's signing with the Reds.

Al-Ghandour said on his program "Stad Al-Mahwar" that the player had indeed signed with Al-Ahly last January for five seasons at 6 million pounds per season and was on the verge of joining the Red Castle.

He continued: "The management of Ghazl El Mahalla learned about the player's signing with Al Ahly, which caused significant anger among the club's board of directors. As a result, he was excluded from the first team's training and participated in training with the youth sector."

The management of Ghazl El Mahalla continued, meeting with Mahmoud Salah and asked him to renew his contract with the team for 3 seasons in exchange for 1.7 million monthly, which the player agreed to, renewing his contract for 3 seasons.

Mahmoud Salah's contract with Ghazl El Mahalla includes a clause that allows him to transfer to any European club directly through his agent, while requiring the club's approval to negotiate with local offers.

Ghazl El Mahalla currently holds the seventh position in the relegation group standings of the league with 30 points.
