Sunday 26-04-2026
Robert Sanchez, Chelsea's goalkeeper, spoke to TNT Sports after qualifying for the FA Cup final at the expense of Leeds United with a 1-0 victory at Wembley Stadium.

The goalkeeper said in his interview: "It's wonderful. The players responded as they should. We tried to keep everyone's spirits high during training, and this is an opportunity to reach another final. It's something we've worked for, and it's amazing."

He added: "I am happy. I always try to do my job to the best of my ability. We go through ups and downs. I am very happy with the season I've had, but the most important thing is to finish it in the best way possible. Four matches remain in the Premier League, and a final."

About the goal: "The goal came directly from training. We practice it, they compete for the second ball. Perfect. They deserve moments like this. It's good to give back after a tough period."

He continued, "What has coach Callum McFarlane changed? Maintaining positivity and focusing on the upcoming matches. We said we have six matches ahead of us, and it's up to us to try to win the final."

He concluded about the possibility of winning the final: "It would mean a lot after a tough season, so we will go there and fight for everything on the field."
