The English club Newcastle United has set the financial value required to part with its winger Anthony Gordon, amid increasing interest from the German club Bayern Munich to acquire his services during the upcoming transfer period.

According to 'Sky Sports', Newcastle is preparing to open negotiations regarding the sale of the player after the end of the current season, provided they receive an amount of 75 million pounds sterling.

The report indicated that Bayern Munich has prioritized Gordon, who is 25 years old, to strengthen their ranks, despite there being no official contacts between the two clubs yet.

Newcastle's management is aware of the German club's level of interest, while indications suggest that the player is open to experiencing a new challenge. Meanwhile, Bayern currently values the deal at around 55 million pounds sterling, a figure that does not meet the English club's expectations.

Bayern Munich is currently the closest to finalizing the deal, surpassing Liverpool and Arsenal, who had previously shown interest in signing the player.

Since his move to Newcastle from Everton in January 2023 for 45 million pounds sterling, Gordon has established himself as a key player in the team and delivered impressive performances during the current season.

The player has participated in 43 matches across various competitions this season, scoring 16 goals and assisting 4, reflecting his significant development and importance within the team.
