Tchouameni Among Manchester United's Targets
Tuesday 21-04-2026
Manchester United is preparing for strong moves in the summer transfer market to strengthen their midfield, with French star Aurélien Tchouaméni, a Real Madrid player, being identified as a primary target according to press reports.

According to a report by the "Telegraph" newspaper, the English club is aiming to replicate the scenario of signing Casemiro from years ago, taking advantage of its desire to rebuild the midfield, especially with the Brazilian player's departure nearing the end of the season, along with the potential exit of Manuel Ugarte.

United plans to make two strong signings in midfield, making Tchouaméni one of the top options due to his experience and technical value, despite being under contract with Real Madrid until the summer of 2028.

The Royal Club signed Tchouaméni in the summer of 2022 for around 80 million euros, and the player is still highly regarded in the transfer market, despite a slight decline in his market value.

United's list of interests also includes other notable names, such as Nottingham Forest's Elliott Anderson, who is valued at around 120 million euros, as well as Crystal Palace's Adam Wharton and Newcastle United's Sandro Tonali.

It seems that Premier League clubs are closely monitoring Real Madrid's situation, trying to seize any opportunity to sign one of its stars during the upcoming transfer window.
