Milan midfielder Luka Modric has set a number of conditions for agreeing to renew his contract with the team, as his current contract is nearing its end by the end of this season.

According to the Spanish newspaper 'AS', Modric does not mind continuing with Milan, but he has linked his agreement to a set of demands.

The report explained that the player has stipulated that the club's management make strong signings during the upcoming transfer period, with the aim of strengthening the team's power and competing better in the next season.

Modric also set another condition that Milan qualifies for the Champions League next season, in addition to his preference for coach Massimiliano Allegri to remain at the helm of the team's technical leadership.

On the other hand, reports indicated the possibility of Allegri leaving Milan at the end of the current season, which could affect the player's future within the club.

Modric joined Milan at the beginning of the current season on a free transfer deal, after leaving Real Madrid.
