Bayern Munich star Luis Diaz appeared in a press statement following the 4-3 victory over Real Madrid in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals at the Allianz Arena, advancing the Bavarians to the semi-finals after also winning the first leg 2-1.

The Colombian star said in his statement: "I am very happy to qualify. We aspired to this and gave it our all from the beginning. We knew it would be a tough match; Real Madrid is a very big team with extensive experience. Thank God I was able to score and help the team win."

Regarding Guler's early goal, he said: "It was... oh my, it wasn't a pleasant feeling. It wasn't our goal to come out this way and have them score first. These things happen. I also had a chance to score and missed it, but eventually, I did score. That's football."

Concerning the red card received by Eduardo Camavinga: "The referee was right in my opinion. He didn't release the ball after the foul; we wanted to take the free kick quickly... but he picked up the ball and went with it... we pushed forward."

He concluded about facing Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League: "We will treat it as a very important match. We have played against each other in the league stage before, we know each other well. It will be a very tough match. Now we need to rest and review everything to make the necessary adjustments."
