Italian media reports have revealed Juventus' interest in signing South Korean defender Kim Min-jae, a player for Bayern Munich, during the upcoming summer transfer window, according to "La Gazzetta dello Sport."

The newspaper explained that Juventus has considered Kim Min-jae as a potential alternative to replace their defender Gleison Bremer in case he leaves this summer, amid interest from several Premier League clubs to sign Bremer for 40 to 50 million euros.

Coach Luciano Spalletti shows a clear desire to reunite with Kim Min-jae, having previously worked together at Napoli, where the player delivered outstanding performances under his leadership.

The report indicated that Kim was considered one of the best defenders in Europe during Spalletti's tenure at Napoli, before contributing to the team's victory in the Italian league title in the 2022/2023 season.

However, the South Korean defender was unable to replicate the same performance with Bayern Munich, as he struggled with limited appearances and difficulty securing a regular spot in the lineup.

Kim is considering leaving Allianz Arena in search of greater playing opportunities and to revive his football career, while the main obstacle for Juventus remains his high salary, which may not align with the club's budget.
