El-Ghandour: Hossam Hassan Discovered Islam Issa and the Player Has Great Potential
The media personality Khaled Al-Ghandour commented on the Egyptian national team's 4-0 friendly victory over the Saudi national team.
Al-Ghandour said on his program "Stad Al-Mihwar" that Hossam Hassan has largely settled on the Pharaohs' national team roster for the World Cup.
He added: "Hossam Hassan discovered Islam Issa, and the player has shown good performance. He possesses great capabilities and performed excellently in the recent Arab Cup. I hope Marwan Hamdi joins the national team after Mostafa's performance has declined recently."
He confirmed that Ahmed Sayed Zizo delivered one of his best performances and appeared outstanding against Saudi Arabia.
He continued: "Saudi football is significant, and the Saudi national team is great and cannot be underestimated. However, Hervé Renard's selections have significantly impacted the team's level, and the focus on the Saudi league and attracting foreign players has negatively affected the Green Falcons."
