Date of Egypt's National Team First Training in America in Preparation for Belgium Match

The Egyptian national team begins a new phase of preparations for the 2026 World Cup finals today, Monday, by conducting its first training session in Spokane, USA, under the leadership of coach Hossam Hassan. This is in preparation for the anticipated match against Belgium in the opening of their tournament campaign.

The training session is scheduled to start at 9:30 PM Cairo time, which corresponds to 11:30 AM Spokane time, as part of the technical program set by the coaching staff to bring the players to the highest level of readiness before the kickoff.

The "Pharaohs" delegation arrived in the city of Spokane in the early hours of Monday morning, following the conclusion of their preparatory camp in the state of Ohio, which included a strong friendly match against the Brazilian national team.

The Egyptian national team lost to Brazil with a score of 2-1 in the last friendly match before the start of the World Cup. This match was used by the coaching staff to assess the players' readiness and to try out several tactical options before the tournament.

The Egyptian national team continues its intensive preparations in anticipation of their first match in the World Cup, where they will face Belgium on June 15th. This match marks the "Pharaohs'" opening game in the 2026 World Cup competition.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 10 PM Cairo time, amid Egyptian hopes for a positive start that would boost the team's chances of competing for one of the qualifying spots to the next round.
