Spanish national team star Mikel Oyarzabal appeared in a press statement following the 3-0 victory over the Serbian national team in the friendly international match held on Friday evening.

The player who scored two goals in the match said, "I'm happy to be here, to play regularly, and to be able to help the team. Whether by scoring goals as I did today or in any other way, I always strive to give my best for the team."

He added, "Due to the circumstances, we had to play this match, but we know that the best way to deal with what's coming is to give our best in every game. To do everything we can, no matter the circumstances, and to strive for a positive result."

Regarding being the ninth top scorer in the national team's history: "I am happy. I never imagined being here, but one always aspires for more and constantly seeks to improve. I am pleased that the goals contribute to the team's victory."

He concluded about Victor Munoz, who participated for the first time and scored the third goal: "I am happy for him, for all the new players, and for those who will join soon. We have proven that here, it doesn't matter who plays; the team is more important than the individual. Everyone must put themselves at the service of the team so that things go well, as they did today."
