Ahmed Yehia settled the controversy surrounding the future of player Ahmed Abdelkader, following reports linking his name to a move to Zamalek during the upcoming summer transfer window.

The player's agent clarified in television statements that the rumors about Abdelkader's move to the Iraqi league as a preliminary step to join Zamalek or Pyramids are unfounded, stressing that the talk about this scenario is exaggerated.

He pointed out that the player has permanently transferred from Al Ahly club to Al Karma club with a contract extending for a season and a half, and not on loan as was rumored.

He also explained that the contract includes a clause giving Al Ahly club preference if they wish to reclaim the player, but it is a non-mandatory clause, adding that any club wishing to sign Abdelkader would have to present a similar financial offer.

The player's agent concluded his statements by emphasizing that the player currently prefers to continue his foreign professional experience, especially considering the good level he has been showing since moving to the Iraqi league.
