The Police Club held its press conference regarding the upcoming match against Zakho scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, at Zakho International Stadium in Duhok as part of the 24th round of the Iraq Stars League. Coach Moamen Suleiman discussed the nature of the upcoming phase and the necessity of protecting the players from pressure, while player Mahmoud Al-Mawas emphasized everyone's responsibility and the return to the path of victories.

Moamen Suleiman said, 'The next phase requires greater support for the players and keeping them away from pressure, and I am the most experienced among them and will bear all the pressure.'

He added, 'We have the determination and will to achieve what is required, and our team is experienced in tough environments.'

He continued, 'I am very happy with the return of coach Ayoob Odisho to work in the league, and Zakho has good players, and we look forward to presenting an outstanding match and for our players to be at their best.'

He explained, 'My recent statements were aimed at relieving pressure on the players, and the fans should continue their support and not forget the achievements.'

He clarified, 'We will play every match with high enthusiasm, and we are working on instilling a winning culture in our players' minds, without giving up any point.'

He affirmed that the Police Club has a character capable of managing crucial moments, pointing out that the team looks forward to breaking the series of two consecutive draws against Al-Naft and Al-Talaba and returning with the three points from a tough stadium, as the team occupies the second place with 49 points.

On his part, Mahmoud Al-Mawas spoke candidly about bearing collective responsibility, saying, 'Achievements are always attributed to everyone, while losses are blamed on the coach, and this is not correct, as what happened is our responsibility.'

He added, 'Captain Moamen achieved success with the Police Club, and there are some shortcomings on our part, and we need to return to our true level.'

He continued, 'We have two important rounds ahead of us that are like finals, and we will commit to fulfilling all the duties of the technical staff to return to the path of victories.'

Al-Mawas pointed out that the group understands the value of small details at this stage, noting that commitment and focus will be the key to the return, especially against a competitor experiencing an excellent period under the leadership of Ayoob Odisho and occupying the seventh place with 40 points, known for its strength at home with a very large crowd presence that gives Zakho an additional moral boost.
