Rome Receives a Strong Moral Boost
Wednesday 25-03-2026
The newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport" confirmed that AS Roma took advantage of the international break to regain their prominent Argentine player Matias Soulé, who returned to training with the small group present in the capital this week.

Sole participated in all of the team's first 25 matches in the Italian league for the 2025/2026 season, starting in 21 of them. However, he has been absent from the matches since Roma's 2-2 draw with Napoli on February 15 due to injury.

This injury led to the player's absence from the last five matches in the Italian league and the home and away matches of the Round of 16 in the Europa League against Bologna, which ended with the team's elimination from the tournament. He returned to training on Tuesday with the small group, while the rest of the players continue their work with their national teams.

Although the injury has not completely healed yet, Suli's return to training represents a positive step towards regaining full fitness. The player aims to participate in the first match after the international break against Inter Milan at the San Siro on April 5th.

On the other hand, player Paulo Dybala remains away from returning to the field, as he needs about an additional month of recovery, hoping to join the team before the end of the season and participate in the last five or six matches of the Italian league.
