Media: Al-Ahly Seeks a Manuel Jose Lookalike to Manage the Team Technically
The journalist Mohamed El-Leithy confirmed that Al Ahly's management is looking for a new coach to succeed Torup and that the new coach will not be Egyptian.
Al-Leithi explained on his program on "On Sport FM" radio that Al-Ahly is looking to hire a coach similar to Manuel Jose, who achieved great successes with the Red team.
He added that Mahmoud El Khatib, the president of Al Ahly club, refuses to sign Rene Weiler, the former Al Ahly coach, due to his sudden departure from the team earlier.
El-Leithy indicated that Al-Ahly may let go of any player who receives a suitable financial offer to leave the team in the upcoming period as part of the restructuring plan.
