Barcelona received a significant morale boost after reassuring on the condition of their goalkeeper Juan Garcia, following the medical examinations he underwent on Thursday morning, which confirmed he did not suffer any injury.

The Spanish newspaper 'Mundo Deportivo' reported that the results of the tests conducted on Juan Garcia were reassuring, as they completely ruled out the presence of any injury, meaning he is ready to participate in the upcoming match against Rayo Vallecano, scheduled for Sunday at 3 PM Egypt time.

Garcia had raised concerns during Barcelona's match against Newcastle, after requesting a substitution in the 80th minute due to discomfort in his left calf muscle, following an attempt to save a shot from player Barnes. He appeared to be in pain immediately upon getting up, and began touching the injured area before lying on the pitch, a scene that worried the coaching staff and fans.

According to the Spanish newspaper, he was replaced by the Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny as a precautionary measure, with the final decision on his condition postponed until he underwent medical examinations the following day.

The examinations he underwent on Thursday morning, according to the same source, confirmed the absence of any injury, which the club later officially announced, closing the file of concerns about the goalkeeper's condition and confirming his readiness for upcoming matches.
