Racing Santander has officially returned to the Spanish First Division League after a 14-year absence, following their thrilling victory over Real Valladolid (4-1), while also benefiting from Almeria's stumble, securing promotion with two rounds remaining in the season.

The Spanish club experienced one of the most historic moments in its journey, having successfully returned to La Liga after difficult years spent moving between lower division clubs, reaching complex stages that almost threatened its continuity, before coming back today stronger and more stable.

With this achievement, Racing Santander, one of the founding clubs of the Spanish league, returns to its natural place among the elite, in an extraordinary promotion story that has revived its fans after long years of suffering.

Racing tops the Spanish Second Division league table with 78 points from 40 matches, followed by Deportivo La Coruña in second place with 71 points from 39 matches, and Almeria in third with 71 points from 40 matches.
