Manchester City forward Jeremy Doku appeared in a press conference following the 2-1 loss against Real Madrid in the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16, at the Etihad Stadium.

The player said in his statement: "I feel that we wasted many opportunities. We played well, even with ten players against eleven, especially against a team like Real Madrid, the match will be tough, but we performed well."

He added, "We are disappointed by the loss, but it's a bitter reality. When you play the matches, you don't feel that they were much better than us, even if it seems that way from the match result."

He emphasized: "Real Madrid is different compared to the league stage, but every match is different from the other. The result of the first leg made them play in a more defensive style, as they didn't need to score. They have always had a great team, and we know their quality. I feel we performed well today."

He continued, "This tournament will teach us valuable lessons, and we will learn a lot for the upcoming matches. We will analyze the match and see what we can do better, then look forward to Sunday."

Regarding Bernardo Silva's dismissal, he concluded: "He is our captain, and he is the most disappointed among us all. It's not his fault; he tried to defend. We are not angry with him, he's just unlucky."
