Bouaddi Gives Verbal Approval to Represent Morocco National Team

French press reports have revealed that midfielder Ayoub Bouaddi, a player for Lille, is close to representing the Moroccan national football team in the near future.

The Foot Mercato website reported that the young player has given his verbal consent to join the Moroccan national team after positive discussions with officials from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation.

The source added that the Moroccan university intends to invite Bouaddi starting from the training camp this March, in a move aimed at integrating him early into the national team.

The report indicated that a meeting was held this week bringing together the university president, Fouzi Lekjaa, and the youth team coach, Mohamed Wahbi, with the player and those close to him. The discussions between all parties were described as positive, bringing the player closer to wearing the Moroccan national team jersey in the upcoming phase.
