Riyadh Turns the Tables on Al-Ittihad with Three Goals, Deepening the Leader's Crisis

The Saudi club Al-Ittihad suffered another defeat in the Saudi Roshn League after losing to Al-Riyadh with a score of three goals to one, as part of the 26th round of the competition.

The team started the match strongly, with Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri opening the scoring early in the fourth minute with a precise header following a cross from Roger Fernandez.

Despite the Union's lead in the first half, the Riyadh team managed to come back in the second half, with Leandro Antonios scoring the equalizer in the 48th minute.

The attacking attempts by Riyadh continued until player Tozi managed to score the second goal for his team in the 80th minute, giving the home side a significant advantage in the score.

In the final moments of the match, Mamadou Sylla extended Riyadh's lead by scoring the third goal from a penalty kick in the 94th minute, securing the victory for his team.

With this victory, Riyadh increased its tally to 19 points, placing it in the sixteenth position in the league standings.

In contrast, Al-Ittihad's tally froze at 42 points in sixth place, continuing its inconsistent results in the competition.

This loss comes after Al-Ittihad's defeat in the previous round against Al-Ahli Saudi with a score of three goals to one, increasing the pressure on the team in the upcoming rounds.
