Mohamed Atef, the star of Tala'ea El Gaish, spoke about his team's victory over Al Ahly in the league.

Tala'ea El Gaish succeeded in defeating Al Ahly with a score of 2-1 yesterday, Monday, in a postponed match from the 15th round of the Egyptian Premier League.

Mohamed Atef said in statements to "ON Sport" channel: "We achieved an important victory against a big team like Al Ahly, and this gives us a significant boost in our journey in the second round."

He added, "The coaching staff was preparing us to achieve victory in the match, and we knew that this encounter was extremely important for us because we had been experiencing a lot of bad luck recently."

He continued: "Now we have achieved three consecutive victories in the Premier League, and we defeated a big team like Al Ahly. We have worked well in training, and our goal was to win."

He continued: "Returning to progress after Al Ahly's draw? This is the effort of the players and the diligence of the entire coaching staff. During the halftime break, the coach asked us to return to the playing style we had been working on, after abandoning it in the first half."

He concluded: "We imposed our style in the second half and scored a second goal, then managed to maintain it. As for the Man of the Match award, it's not just for me, but for all the players. The important thing is that we won that match."
