Inter Milan announced that their player Hakan Çalhanoğlu has suffered a minor muscle injury in the inner thigh tendons of his right leg, following examinations conducted today at the club's clinic.

The club confirmed that the condition of the Turkish international midfielder will be monitored and assessed in the coming days before determining his return to the field.

The injury occurred after Çalhanoğlu missed the Milan derby against AC Milan yesterday, where he did not even participate as a substitute. Coach Cristian Chivu explained that the player was not in a suitable condition to participate.

The club emphasized that the injury is not serious at this stage, but it requires careful monitoring before returning to training and official matches, making his participation in upcoming games uncertain for now.
