Chelsea Advances to FA Cup Quarterfinals

Chelsea secured its spot in the FA Cup quarterfinals after an exciting 4-2 victory over Wrexham in their round of 16 clash, with the match extending into extra time.

Wrexham opened the scoring early in the 18th minute through Sam Smith after a pass from Callum Doyle, before Chelsea managed to equalize in the 40th minute with an own goal by Arthur Okonkwo, ending the first half at 1-1.

In the second half, Wrexham regained the lead in the 78th minute via Callum Doyle after a pass from Windass, but Chelsea quickly responded with an equalizer in the 82nd minute through Josh Achimpong, making it 2-2.

Pedro Neto nearly gave the Blues the lead at the end of regular time with a powerful shot that hit the crossbar, sending the match into extra time after the tie persisted.

In the first extra half, Alejandro Garnacho scored Chelsea's third goal in the 96th minute after a pass from Isugo. Wrexham attempted to equalize during extra time and did manage to score in the 114th minute, but the goal was disallowed after a VAR review for offside.

In the final moments, Joao Pedro sealed the match by scoring Chelsea's fourth goal, ending the game with a 4-2 victory and securing their advancement to the quarterfinals of the tournament.
