The Italian newspaper 'Tutto Mercato' reported that Inter Milan is planning to make extensive changes to its squad during the upcoming summer transfer window, including the defense line and goalkeeping, while midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan will receive an offer to renew his contract.

The reports indicated that the club will not offer contract renewals to Yann Sommer, Francesco Acerbi, Matteo Darmian, and Stefan de Vrij, meaning they will leave as free agents next June, which will open the door for a complete restructuring of the defense at Inter Milan.

According to the same source, Mkhitaryan will receive an offer to renew his contract, but it includes a 30% salary reduction, making it 2.5 million euros for the 2026/2027 season, instead of the current 3.8 million euros, making him the only player in the team who will have the opportunity to continue.
