Spanish goalkeeper Josep Martínez, of Inter, spoke in an interview with "La Gazzetta dello Sport" about the car accident he experienced last year, confirming that the incident will remain a part of his life. However, he has chosen to focus on the future and continue his career in football.

Martínez said: "The car accident? It's something you never forget, and I know I will carry it with me forever. I think about it, and I try not to do that too much because it's something that can drain your energy. It was a tragedy, and the only way to get through it is to look forward. The tough times are behind me, and the fact that I am here proves that."

Inter goalkeeper added: "I am at one of the best teams in Europe, and I represent the strongest national team in the world. I look to the future with optimism and positivity and with a lot of hunger. I want to continue winning matches and collecting titles with Inter, so they can call me back here."

Martínez touched on the criticism directed at Inter's defense for conceding a large number of goals, stating: "It is easy to look at the goalkeeper, but we are a team, and from the first to the last among us, we need to raise our level. I believe we will do that, because if we have one trait, it is always hunger."

The Inter goalkeeper concluded his remarks by emphasizing the team's ambition: "We always want to win, strive to improve, and add something in every match, so we reach the top at the crucial moments of the season."
