Manchester United Awaits 80 Million Euros from Duo's Departure
Friday 06-03-2026
Journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed that Manchester United's management is looking to achieve a financial return of around 80 million euros by selling two of its players during the upcoming summer transfer window.

According to reports, the English club is planning to permanently part ways with Danish player Rasmus Højlund, along with English winger Marcus Rashford, who are on loan to Napoli and Barcelona, respectively.

Manchester United's management is aiming to restructure the team and provide financial liquidity to support new deals in the transfer market, which makes selling some players a strongly considered option within the club.

Barcelona has a purchase option worth 30 million euros in Rashford's contract, while Napoli has a purchase option in Hojlund's contract for 50 million euros.
