Galati Announces Absence of Hegazy and Al-Dosari Before Neom and Al-Nassr Match
The French coach Christophe Galtier of Saudi club Neom confirmed the absence of the duo Ahmed Hegazi and Khalifa Al-Dosari from the match against Al-Nassr in the Saudi Professional League.
Neom will host Al-Nassr in the match taking place at the First Park Stadium in the capital, Riyadh, as part of the twenty-fifth round of the league, on Saturday, March 7.
During the pre-match press conference, Galtier said: "We will miss Ahmed Hegazi due to a muscle injury, as well as Khalifa Al-Dosari after his red card in the last match. I hope he and his teammates will be more cautious about receiving cards, as we have a shortage in the defensive line."
The Neom coach added: "Mohammed Al-Breik will be Khalifa's substitute, while Aoun Al-Salouli will replace Hegazi. I hope he focuses and seizes the opportunity, especially since he faced difficulties in the last match against Al-Kholood Saudi due to his lack of regular participation."
He continued: "Al-Nassr has been achieving very good results in the last 8 matches, and we received the news of Cristiano Ronaldo's absence, but the team will remain strong and cohesive despite his absence."
He concluded by saying: "We will play the same way whether Ronaldo is absent or not, as he is one of the best players in the world. Sadio Mane or Joao Felix might play in the striker position, and Al-Nassr will rely on an offensive style."
