Football is not measured by running alone, but by actual giving, decisiveness, and making a difference. Therefore, the national team's technical staff must reconsider its convictions regarding some players.”

Najib concluded his talk by saying: “Peter Gorkis is just a model, and there are many players in the Iraqi Stars League and beyond who deserve the opportunity more than others. I hope that the global playoff list is based on justice and competence, away from flattery or narrow calculations, because the current stage does not tolerate any mistake in selection, and Gorkis should be given the opportunity he deserves due to his individual solutions and ability to make a difference.”
