Three Anticipated Matches for the Second Day of the Fifth Round of the Stars League
Friday 24-10-2025
The competitions of the fifth round of the Iraqi Stars League continue tomorrow, Saturday, with three exciting matches, all of which are of great importance in the trajectory of the clubs.

In the first match, Al-Karma faces its guest Al-Kahrabaa at Al-Jawlan Stadium, in a match where the hosts aim to maintain the positive results they have achieved since the beginning of the season.

Al-Karma started its league journey excellently, having defeated Duhok and Al-Naft, drawn with Al-Zawraa, and suffered a single loss against Erbil.

On the other hand, Al-Kahrabaa is going through a difficult period, having only achieved one point from four matches, after losses to Nawruz, Al-Gharaf, and Al-Shorta, and a draw with Erbil, which places them in the seventeenth position in the standings.

As for the second match, it is considered one of the highlights of this round, as Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya hosts its counterpart Al-Gharaf at Al-Madina Stadium in the capital Baghdad.

Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya, one of the main contenders for the title, aspires to achieve its fourth win of the season, having triumphed over Al-Minaa, Al-Karkh, and Al-Zawraa, while suffering a loss to Zakho.

On the other hand, Al-Gharaf, newly promoted to the Iraqi Stars League, has established itself as a surprise of the season after impressive performances, having won against Al-Mosul, Al-Kahrabaa, and Naft Maysan, and drawn with Al-Qasim.

In the third match, the football day concludes with a clash of the northern Iraq giants, bringing together Nawruz and Duhok at Nawruz Stadium.

Duhok is experiencing an extremely poor period, having not achieved any wins so far, losing all its matches against Al-Karma, Al-Shorta, Al-Karkh, and Al-Talaba, placing them in the nineteenth position. However, they hope to change their fortunes after recently signing coach Abdul Ghani Shahad.

As for Nawruz, its start has been somewhat fluctuating, having defeated Al-Kahrabaa and lost to Naft Maysan, Al-Shorta, and Zakho, and is looking to make amends against Duhok tomorrow.
