The newspaper "Youm7" revealed that Al Ahly's management has given player Hussein El Shahat a deadline to agree to renew his contract with the club.

The newspaper clarified that Al Ahly's offer to renew Hussein El Shahat's contract included him receiving 20 million Egyptian pounds over two seasons. However, the player expressed reservations about the financial terms, considering them not in line with his aspirations.
Al-Shahat demanded an increase in the financial value, in addition to the removal of the participation percentage clause from the new contract, to ensure he receives his full salary regardless of the number of matches he plays.
Al Ahly currently rejects the idea of increasing the financial offer to renew the player's contract and is waiting for El Shahat's approval of the submitted offer.
