Al-Ahli Jeddah secured an exciting 4-3 victory over their guest Shabab Al-Ahli in the match that brought them together in the eighth and final round of the West Group in the AFC Champions League for the elite, at the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City Stadium.

Al-Ahli entered the match strongly, with Firas Al-Buraikan opening the scoring early in the 12th minute after a decisive pass from Riyad Mahrez, placing the ball into the net with a skillful touch.

Al-Ahly added the second goal in the 35th minute after a grave mistake by the Shabab Al-Ahly goalkeeper while handling a pass from one of the defenders, before the Frenchman Enzo Millot strengthened the lead with a third goal from a brilliant shot in injury time of the first half (45+3).

In the second half, Saleh Abu Al-Shamat scored the fourth goal from a penalty kick in the 52nd minute, leading everyone to believe that the match was decided early.

However, the Emirati team made a strong comeback, with Bruno Cascardo scoring two goals in the 66th and 78th minutes, before Mohamed Jumaa added the third goal in the 95th minute, ending the thrilling match with Al Ahli winning 4-3.

With this victory, Al-Ahli Jeddah raised their tally to 17 points, placing them second in the Western Group standings, while Shabab Al-Ahli's tally remained at 11 points, placing them sixth.
