Mamdouh Abbas Comments on Zamalek's Victory Over Kaizer Chiefs

Mamdouh Abbas, the former president of Zamalek Club, commented on the victory achieved by the Whites over South Africa's Kaizer Chiefs yesterday, Saturday, in the African Confederation Cup.

Zamalek defeated Kaizer Chiefs 2-1 in the sixth and final round of the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.

Zamalek successfully qualified at the top of its group with 11 points.

Mamdouh Abbas said on the "X" platform: "I slept happily and peacefully, along with millions of Zamalek fans, after this exciting and wonderful performance, and the outstanding management of the match. I must also commend the great Zamalek supporters who did not stop cheering for their team throughout the match."

He added, "I hope Tuesday's performance will be like Saturday's, and long live Zamalek as a vibrant fortress of Egyptian sports."

He concluded: "I renew the demand to return the land of Zamalek Club to its rightful owners in Mit Okba. I still do not know the reasons for not returning it yet. This is a right, and the right will not be lost."
