Details of Zamalek's Negotiations with Dieng for His Transfer
The media personality Ahmed Shobeir confirmed that there has been communication from Mamdouh Abbas, the former president of Zamalek Club, with Malian Aliou Dieng, the star of Al Ahly, to join the White team.
In a television statement, Shobeir said: "We learned from one of our sources that Mr. Mamdouh Abbas made a strong effort to contact Dieng and offered him to join Zamalek Club with a three-year contract worth 2.5 million dollars per season."
He continued: "Honestly, I was curious to know why Zamalek wants to sign a player for an amount equal to Zamalek's debts to FIFA?"
Shobeir added: "Is it more important to pay the players' dues and settle your debts and open the registration window, or to make a popular deal with Al Ahly?"
Shobeir concluded his statements by saying: "What I learned is that Mr. Mamdouh wanted to sign Dieng to respond to the painful Zizo deal."
