Al Ahly Seeks to Reduce Zizo's Contract

Friday 12-06-2026
The journalist Amir Hesham reported that Ahmed Sayed Zizo's contract with Al Ahly Club ranges between 60 and 65 million Egyptian pounds annually. Due to the administration's desire to reduce the budget and maintain a salary cap, negotiations will be held with the player to reduce his salary.

Hisham said on his program "Modern Sports" on the modern mti channel: "Al Ahly wants to reduce Zizo's contract by a small percentage, and it is possible that the player will agree."

He added: "If Zizo refuses to reduce his contract, then in this case, Al Ahly club may also have to listen to any offers that come for the player."

He explained: "Al Ahly wants to rectify the situation before the new season with Hussein Amouta, and therefore Zizo's position will be under significant review after the upcoming World Cup."

Ahmed Sayed Zizo joined Al Ahly in June 2025, coming from Zamalek on a free transfer for a duration of four seasons.
