Zamalek's Position on the Departure of Amr Nasser and Ahmed Sherif
Al-Ahram portal reported that the officials of Zamalek Club have linked the departure of any player from the first team to resolving the issue of the transfer ban imposed on the club by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA).
The portal added that, pending the resolution of the registration crisis, Zamalek's football management, led by John Edward, has halted discussions on any proposals to loan out striker Amr Nasser and left-winger Ahmed Sherif, in order to maintain the team's offensive lineup.
John Edward wishes for the duo to remain with the Whites in the next season and to reconsider the idea of a loan if the registration ban is not lifted.
Zamalek Club is facing a major crisis due to the transfer ban imposed on it by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA). This penalty is a result of accumulated overdue financial dues to former players and coaches, in addition to fines imposed on the club in favor of some foreign clubs.
