Chelsea forward João Pedro appeared in a press statement following the 2-2 draw against Leeds United in the 26th round of the English Premier League, in the match held at Stamford Bridge.

The player said in his interview: "We feel very frustrated because we started the match excellently. We controlled the game, went ahead 1-0, then 2-0, before conceding a goal. I think that's been our situation this season."

He added: "We need to be more consistent and focused, and to clinch the matches. It happened again today. Tomorrow, we need to review ourselves and identify our weaknesses."

He continued: "This result is a missed opportunity for us. We didn't just lose today; we also lost points in other home matches. If we want to qualify for the Champions League, we can't afford to lose points in this manner."

Regarding his performance after scoring the sixth goal in eight matches, he said: "I'm just trying to improve daily and showcase my abilities, but I still have a lot to develop."
