The Danish coach, Jess Thorup, of Al-Ahly club, sent an important message to the new signings who joined the red team during the last winter transfer window, urging them to be fully prepared for the upcoming phase.

Al-Ahly club signed six players in the winter transfer window: Hadi Riyad, Amr Al-Jazzar, Youssef Belamri, Marwan Othman, Wilson Kamouish, and Ahmed Eid, based on direct recommendations from the Danish coach to strengthen all team lines.

The Al Ahly management spent approximately 2.40 million euros, equivalent to about 133 million Egyptian pounds, to secure these deals as part of their efforts to strongly compete in local and continental championships.

According to what was mentioned on the Youm7 website, Jes Thorup emphasized the necessity for the sextet to prepare ideally and work diligently in training to earn a chance to participate, asserting that proving oneself will be the decisive factor in securing a spot in the starting lineup.

The report clarified that some deals have not yet had their opportunity, such as Youssef Belamri, Hadi Riad, and Amr El-Gazzar. On the other hand, Wilson Kamweish, Marwan Othman, and Ahmed Eid have participated in previous matches with the team under the leadership of Torop.
