Mohamed Magdy "Afsha," the Al Ahly player on loan to Al Ittihad Alexandria, sent an emotional farewell message to the management and fans of "The Leader of the North" as his loan period nears its end and he prepares to return to the ranks of the Red Castle.

Afsha made sure to express his gratitude through his official Instagram account, expressing his appreciation to the club and everyone who supported him during his time with the team. He said, "Thank you to the esteemed Al-Ittihad Club, and thank you to the club's president, Mohamed Ahmed Salama, a devoted man to the club, and the board of directors for their trust and support."

The Al-Ahly player added in his message: "Thank you to the technical, administrative, and medical staff, and to the workers who work silently for the comfort of the team. It has been an honor to represent the club in front of a great audience."

He continued: "A fanbase that genuinely loves their club and was always present, a short period but it will remain etched in my heart... Al-Ittihad is the pride of the nation."

Afsha's departure from Al-Ittihad Alexandria comes after the end of his loan period from Al-Ahly, following the team's success in securing their stay in the Premier League after their recent 3-0 victory over Ismaily.

In the same context, the player announced his return to Al-Ahly club before the end of the league with one match remaining for Al-Ittihad. He confirmed in a television statement: "I played my last match with Al-Ittihad against Ismaily and received permission from the board to leave after ensuring the team's stay in the Premier League."

He added, "I will return to Al-Ahly after a four-month absence, and I still have one season left on my contract with the club."

Afsha concluded his statements with a decisive message: "I will return to Al Ahly one hundred percent, without a doubt, and I will not leave again, as I miss the fans' chants," adding, "Anyone who hasn't played for Al Ahly hasn't truly played football, with all due respect to all Egyptian clubs."
