Liverpool Football Club revealed the suspension duration for their player Dominik Szoboszlai, following the red card he received during the match against Manchester City in the English Premier League.

Szoboszlai received a direct red card in the 90+13 minute of the Liverpool vs. Manchester City match, which the Reds lost 2-1, as part of the 25th round of the English Premier League. This was after he fouled Erling Haaland, who was alone with an open goal, prompting the referee to send him off after consulting the video assistant referee (VAR).

Liverpool Football Club, through its official website, stated that the player will be suspended for one match in the English Premier League. The official website clarified that the penalty was imposed in accordance with the competition's regulations regarding the prevention of a clear goal-scoring opportunity.

For its part, the "Liverpool Echo" website confirmed that the English Premier League rules stipulate that any player who receives a direct red card for denying a clear goal-scoring opportunity will be suspended for one match.

As a result, Szoboszlai will miss Liverpool's upcoming match against Sunderland, scheduled for next Wednesday evening, as part of the English Premier League competition.
