Statements of Moatamed Gamal Before the ZESCO Confederation Cup Match
The coach of Zamalek, Moatamed Gamal, spoke about the upcoming match between his team and Zambia's ZESCO in the African Confederation Cup.
Zamalek will face Zesco tomorrow, Sunday, in the fifth round of the CAF Confederation Cup.
In the press conference preceding the match, Moatamed Gamal said: "Zamalek has prepared well for the match, and our goal is to win tomorrow's game and the following match against Kaizer Chiefs to qualify and top the group, as this will make the path relatively easier after the group stage."
He continued: "Our goal is to win tomorrow's match, and I hope we have good fortune in the Zesco match. Zamalek has been playing for the top spot in the group since the beginning of the group stage. The team's draw with Kaizer Chiefs in the second round affected the team's position somewhat, but after that, Zamalek succeeded in taking the lead in its group. Our goal is to win tomorrow and in the Kaizer Chiefs match to maintain the lead."
