Joan Laporta, the president of FC Barcelona, expressed his great happiness at the team's qualification for the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey, praising the players' performance, particularly highlighting Lamine Yamal and Ronald Araujo, following the victory in the quarter-final match.

Laporta said: "We controlled the match, but Albacete made things difficult for us. We are the deserving winners and have qualified for the semi-finals. It was a typical cup match in a great atmosphere, and the opponent was a respectable rival."

The president of Barcelona continued: "Lamine is a genius, he opened the scoring, and I am particularly happy for Araujo, as he scored a goal and we are very satisfied with him. This goal gave us calmness, we played good football, and this is clearly reflected in the results."

Laporta added, speaking about the stadium project: "I am proud that Spotify Camp Nou will be the best stadium in Europe, the largest in terms of capacity, comfortable, safe, and with great commercial appeal. The UEFA Champions League is the most important club competition in the world, and we want to host the final at our stadium in 2029, as well as the 2030 World Cup final, and we will work to achieve that."

Laporta concluded his remarks by discussing administrative matters, saying: "According to the regulations, it has been decided to call for the 9th, and several of us will resign to run again. The elections will begin, and this is part of the natural democratic process for a member-owned club, and we hope for significant participation."
