Zamalek coach Moatamed Gamal spoke about his team's victory over Al-Masry in the African Confederation Cup.

The White Knights secured a 2-1 victory over Al-Masry on Sunday evening in the fourth round of the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.

In the press conference following the match, Moatamed Gamal said: "The victory is important for us, and both teams are an open book to each other. I thank Nabil Kouki, the coach of the Egyptian team, because his team played a great match today."

He continued: "We divided the match into several parts and succeeded in achieving the desired goal from the encounter by winning and taking the lead in the group."

He added, "Adam Kaid played an outstanding match, and I wished he had scored a goal in today's game. He is doing his utmost and giving everything he has for the team."

He emphasized: "Mohamed Ismail is a distinguished player, and any coach would wish to have him on the team. He excels in playing multiple positions and performs well."

He concluded: "Shikabala gets the penalty, and any player can make mistakes and succeed. The future will be better, and we will work more with the group of players in the attack line. After the first goal for Bezera and Shikabala in the upcoming matches, things will improve."
