The reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano announced on his official account on the X platform that the deal for Nigerian Ademola Lookman's transfer to Atlético Madrid has been completed, following a full agreement between all parties.

According to the details, the deal was valued at 35 million euros as a fixed fee to be paid to Atalanta, in addition to 5 million euros in incentives and variables. Lookman also agreed to sign a long-term contract with the Rojiblancos, after making his final decision in the past few hours.

Atletico Madrid is expected to begin official procedures in the coming hours by arranging the player's travel to the Spanish capital for a medical examination, in preparation for the official announcement of the deal.

The signing of Lookman comes as part of Atletico Madrid's efforts to enhance their attacking capabilities with a player who possesses speed and decisiveness, following the impressive performances he delivered with Atalanta in recent seasons.

The player was the focus of interest from many clubs, most notably the Turkish club Fenerbahçe.
