Tuesday 27-01-2026
Stephen Vanhaeren, the sporting director of the Hungarian club Győr, denied the validity of rumors linking the team's striker, Ahmed Nadhir Ben Bouali, with a move to Egypt's Al Ahly club during the current winter transfer window, affirming the player's stable position with his club.

Vanhaeren clarified in statements published by Al-Watan newspaper that the future of Ahmed Nadhir Ben Bouali is secure with Gyor, emphasizing that the club has not received any official offer from Al-Ahly. He said, "The player will not leave our club, and we have not received any official offer from Al-Ahly."

The sporting director added that Ben Bouali is not for sale in the winter transfer market, emphasizing that even if Al-Ahly makes an official offer, the management of Gyor does not intend to discuss the player's departure at the present time.

Press reports have linked Ahmed Nadhir Ben Bouali with a move to Al Ahly to strengthen their attack, given his remarkable performance this season. He played 25 matches with Győr in Hungary, scoring 13 goals and providing two assists.
