Valencia Officially Announces Signing of Guido Rodríguez
The Spanish club Valencia issued an official statement confirming its agreement with the English club West Ham United to include the Argentine player Guido Rodríguez (born April 12, 1994) in its ranks.
The club explained that Rodríguez will add balance, character, and experience to the midfield, and is capable of contributing to both the defensive and offensive sides under the leadership of coach Carlos Corberan.
The player has participated in more than 400 matches with clubs such as Real Betis, Club América, Club Tijuana, and River Plate, in addition to his recent experience in the English Premier League with West Ham.
Rodríguez holds in his international record with Argentina the 2022 World Cup title as well as the Copa América twice, making him a strong addition to Valencia's goals for the second half of the season.
