The media personality Ahmed Shobeir confirmed the arrival of an official offer from the Spanish club Valencia to sign Al Ahly star Aliou Dieng.

Shobeir said on Facebook: "There is an official offer that has arrived from Valencia, Spain, to Al Ahly to purchase the remaining period of Dieng's contract. Valencia offered half a million euros, but Al Ahly is refusing to let go of the player and insists on keeping him until the end of the season due to their need for his services. However, the Malian player is determined to leave."

Aliou Dieng delivered an outstanding and consistent performance with the Mali national team in the 2025 African Cup of Nations, where he was one of the key players contributing to the team's qualification to the quarter-finals.

Al Ahly is preparing to face Young Africans of Tanzania tomorrow, Friday, in the third round of the group stage of the African Champions League.
