Dieng Insists on Leaving for Valencia and Pressures Al Ahly
The Malian Aliou Dieng, the star midfielder of the Egyptian club Al Ahly, insists on leaving during the current winter transfer window, preferring to embark on a new professional experience in the Spanish league through Valencia, rejecting the renewal of his contract with the Red Castle at the moment.
The "Stad Al-Mahwar" program revealed that Dieng refuses to continue with Al-Ahly for a new period and insists on moving to Valencia, as the Spanish club has made a financial offer of $300,000 to purchase the remaining six months of the player's contract with Al-Ahly.
The same source indicated that Dieng expressed his willingness to bear part of the financial compensation, ranging between $200,000 and $300,000, in an attempt to increase the total value of the offer submitted to Al Ahly's management, in order to facilitate his transfer to the Spanish league.
The report added that the player agreed to increase the offer to $600,000 after Al Ahly rejected the initial offer, even though Valencia's offer does not include any resale percentage or future privileges for the Cairo club.
At a time when Dieng informed Al Ahly officials that if his departure this winter faces obstacles, he will sign a contract with Valencia this January, to join their ranks for free at the end of the current season.
