The Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" revealed that the young left-back Dani Bernabeu, a 19-year-old player from Albacete, has attracted the interest of both Barcelona and Real Madrid following his impressive performances recently, especially in his team's match against Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey.

According to the newspaper, Barcelona, like Real Madrid, has already contacted Albacete to inquire about the player's status and the possibility of signing him. However, the club responded by pointing to the release clause in his contract, which is set at 6 million euros.

The newspaper indicated that Bernabéu has gradually started securing his place in the first team of Albacete and delivered an outstanding performance in the historic Copa del Rey match where his team eliminated Real Madrid, despite facing competition for his position from the American full-back Jonathan Gómez, who is on loan from PAOK.

This interest is confirmed by the major Spanish clubs' focus on prominent young talents within local competitions, without the need to look beyond the league's borders.
