The media personality Ahmed Shobeir criticized the new deals recently made by Al Ahly.

Shobeir said in statements on "On Sport FM" radio: "How many years was Mostafa El-Ash's contract? And Ahmed Ramadan Beckham used to join the national team when he was with Ceramica Cleopatra, but when he returned to Al Ahly, he was excluded from the team, going back and forth like a yo-yo."

He added: "Ahmed Eid's contract with Al-Ahly is for three and a half years. Will he continue? As for Yassin Marai, what will his position be after signing with Al-Jazzar, and what will his role be in the team with the presence of Yasser Ibrahim and Hadi Riad, whom the club is close to signing from Petrojet?"

He continued: "Okay, how many years was the contract of Gradishar who is leaving? And Ahmed Reda left Al Ahly before completing his contract, so the question is, what is the return on these deals? And on what basis are they chosen from the start? These questions are 100% logical."
