Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos appeared in a press statement after the 2-0 victory over Levante in the twentieth round of the Spanish league, at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

He said: "We knew it would be a tough match against an opponent who defends very well with a deep block. The team dealt with the match step by step, starting from a lower level to better, and in the end, we left with a good feeling and earned three very important points for us."

He added: "We corrected the mistakes from the first half, especially regarding aggression in tackles and playing forward, which was essential for scoring. The first goal came from a penalty because we played forward, while the second goal came from a set piece. The team deserved a bigger result, but the most important thing today is getting the three points."

He continued: "The coach asks us to press after losing the ball, which we lacked in recent matches, alongside playing aggressively, pressing in the opponent's half to regain the ball, playing forward, and moving dynamically. Time is still short, but we will gradually absorb the coach's ideas and continue striving for more."

He concluded about his role in the team: "The coach knows that I am a hardworking player and love to possess the ball. Today, he asked me to play as a clear pivot after Aurélien Tchouaméni moved from midfield to play as a center-back. I tried to organize the play, make sacrifices, and give my best, and that's what I did today."
